BARE IT is Lake Bronson's most popular event, happening Labor Day weekend. Members, guests, and visitors are welcome to attend. Regular day and camping fees apply.
Since early on, Lake Bronson's little mascot has been a frog named Blakely. In honor of Blakely, we have themed our BARE IT arts festival after the little guy. Frogs In Space, Blakespheare in the Park and Blakely and the Lake of Fire are themes of past arts festivals.

2 PM: Contribute to and dress up all weekend at the Costume Cache – North end of Cafe
SATURDAY, AUG 31
Noon - 3 PM - Boob Prints & Body Painting - Lodge parking lot
1-3 PM - Art Sale (bring $$) – Lodge parking lot
5:30 PM - Fashion Show - Office parking lot or RV lot
7 PM: Potluck - Lodge – Middle Eastern theme
8:30 PM: DANCE: Amphibian Nights @ Blakely’s Lounge – Raffle Tickets $2 each, 3 for $5, Arm length for $10
9:30 PM: Burn the Frog* – RV Lot Fire Pit (*contingent, burn decision posted day of event)
SUNDAY, SEP 1
1-3 PM - Art Sale (bring $$) – Lodge parking lot
3-5 PM - Fairy Tea Party (all ages welcome) - Moss Garden
5 PM: International Potluck and Street Dance – Bring a side to share and/or help with dishes – Rustic Way
MONDAY, SEP 2
9:30 AM: Golf – Blue Boy Country Club in Sultan (10:00 am tee time)
2 PM: Last Chance for Costume Cache! – Lodge Parking Lot
ALL WEEKEND
- Relax and visit with friends while enjoying a nude soak in the hot tub or dry heat sauna
- Take advantage of all the kayaks, canoes and floaties at the lake, or mid-day nap on the beach anyone?
- Sit by the campfire and share stories, s'mores, and weenies
- Hike the trails and visit the 85-foot waterfall. Lake Bronson has over five miles of trails to enjoy, most of it on our private grounds.
- Visit the art booths to appreciate the creativity of the artists in our community and have the opportunity to support them with a purchase.
- Create some memorable art to take home! Paint your body and leave it on a paper canvas.
- Come by the Costume Closet to see what’s new
- Join the Saturday night potluck in the lodge, bring your favorite Middle Eastern-themed dish (or anything you like) to share
- Join us as we dance around the bonfire
- Keep the groove going and head to the lodge to dance the night away!
- Chow down at the International Potluck. Bring a side to share.
- If you’re up for it, join the chipper chaps and chippies for a round of golf at the Blue Boy Golf Course.
