BARE IT is Lake Bronson's most popular event, happening Labor Day weekend. The theme for the weekend is “Blakely Potter and the Lake of Fire.”
Members, guests, and visitors are welcome to attend. Regular day and camping fees apply.
Throughout this weekend you are likely to encounter numerous creative, friendly people doing creative, interesting things like swimming, boating, dancing, performing, art-making, hiking, playing games, tennis, badminton, pickleball, horseshoes, disc golf, and all-around fun-having. There will be great activities for the kids as well!

FRIDAY, AUG 31
- 2 pm: Contribute to and dress up all weekend at the Costume Cache – North end of the cafe
- 4 pm: Wine and cheese and seed exchange, BYOCup and a wine or cheese to share – Lodge Deck
- 7 pm: Campfire* – Lodge w/ s’mores & weenies – Lodge parking lot
SATURDAY, SEP 1
- 10 am – Wand / Mask making – Beach Gazebo
- 1-4 pm – Art sale on the beach (bring $$) – Beach or Lodge parking lot (see kiosk)
- 5 pm – Dead Sea Mud Bath, and dress up for the fashion show!
- 5:30 pm – Fashion Show – RV Lot
- 7 pm – Potluck – Lodge – Magical Meal
- 8:30 pm – Procession and Burn Celebration: Campfire* – Lodge w/ s’mores & weenies – Lodge parking lot
- 8:30 pm – DANCE: It’s Magic! theme dance at Blakely’s Lounge – Raffle Tickets $2 each, 3 for $5, Arm length for $10
SUNDAY, SEP 2
- 9:30-10:30 am – Open 12-step meeting – Cafe
- 10 am – Rock Painting – Beach Gazebo
- 11 am – Dance Class – Lower Lodge
- 1-4 pm – Art sale on the beach (bring $$) – Beach
- 5 pm – Roadkill BBQ – Lodge parking lot – Bring a side to share and/or do dishes
- 8:30 pm – Movie on the Beach
MONDAY, SEP 3
- 9:30 am – Golf at the Blue Boy Country Club in Sultan (10 am tee time)
- 2 pm – Last Chance for Costume Cache!
ALL WEEKEND
- Relax and visit with friends while enjoying a nude soak in the hot tub or dry heat sauna
- Take advantage of all the kayaks, canoes and floaties at the lake, or mid-day nap on the beach anyone?
- Sit by the campfire and share stories, s'mores, and weenies
- Hike the trails and visit the 85-foot waterfall. Lake Bronson has over five miles of trails to enjoy, most of it on our private grounds.
- Visit the art booths to appreciate the creativity of the artists in our community and have the opportunity to support them with a purchase.
- Create some memorable art to take home!
- Paint your body and leave it on a paper canvas.
- Come by the Costume Closet to see what’s new
- Join the Saturday night potluck in the lodge, bring your favorite dish (or anything you like) to share
- If the Burn Ban allows, join us as we dance around the bonfire
- Keep the groove going and head to the lodge to dance the night away at our It's Magic themed dance!
- If you’re up for it, join the chipper chaps and chippies for a round of golf at the Blue Boy Golf Course.
